How to Eat
Put stock and seasonings (sugar, mirin, salt and soy sauce, etc.) in a pot and bring the pot to a boil over heat. When coming to a boil, put the frozen Kuri-kabocha in the pot with its rind-side down without placing on top of each other. Placing a drop lid directly on Kuri-kabocha, simmer over medium heat for about 3 minutes and then over low heat for 7 to 8 minutes. When using for salad, soup and confectionery, place the frozen one on a plate without placing on top of each other and microwave it, covering it with plastic wrap, for about the period of time as follows: (500 W) 4 minutes for 250 g; (600 W) 3 and a half minutes for 250 g.
